How Can diarrhoea Along With Stomach Pain Be Treated?

Hi My daughter is away at college and she call me today saying she went on a walk and had to pee and actually couldn t hold it in and wet her pants. She said she was feeling weird and know her stomach hurts and she is having diarrhea . Any ideas on what cold be going on? I don t think she has a fever.

hello,
diarrhea means most probably gut infection at her age. start antibiotics like ciprofloxacin 500mg twice daily after food. metronidazole 400mg twice daily after food. ranitidine 150mg twice daily before food for 3 days. if diarrhea not controlled she needs iv fluids and iv antibiotics.
